Flight # 4155/#77 of State Capitol Tour

Postby MTN2769 » Tue Apr 05, 2016 7:34 am

Tried to fly the flight but will not allow me to start the flight log in FSAcars. Could someone check to see if there is an issue?

Thanks.

Thanks read it and will do. Also clicked on the wrong button/tab this am and somehow my forum p/w got inserted for my MTN site p/w. Thought I had kept it someplace.

Sent an email to member services asking them to either re-provide my site p/w or allow me to reset it. Once I get, will go in and do what you recommended.

Hi I did as Dennis recommended and still can't track the flight (the "Log Flight"" button stays grayed out) in FSAcars. Any suggestions? Fly the flight and manually enter the PIREP afterwards? I'm down to my last couple of flights for the State capital tour and would like to finish/complete them.

I have no idea what Dennis recommended so I have no idea what you did.

If the Log Flight button stays greyed, it means the flight plan page is missing something or not correctly filled in. Look at this post --> viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2937 The post is about database errors, but it shows a picture of the flight plan page and the allowable missing fields.

If you've changed nothing on your system and this has worked in the past, the only odd thing I see in the flight plan itself is the tail number. The plane is listed as N2054MT. Perhaps it doesn't like a 4 digit number before the suffix. Get rid of the 4 and try that. If it works, let us know here and we'll change the tail number on that plane.

Hi,

Deleted the/my MTN2769.dat file and tried deleting the 4 in the tail #. No change. The
start Log box is stall grey.

I did fly the flight (4155) this am and submitted a manual PIREP and am awaiting approval.

Am open to any other ideas/suggestions.

Mike,

Can you take a screenshot so that we can see what you see? It might help to figure out what the issue is.

Cheers,

If you go to the Screenshots section of this forum, there is a sticky post at the top that describes how to attach a screenshot. Follow those instructions, except reply to this post and attach the pic here rather than creating a new thread over there.
