[quote="MTN001"]I have no idea what Dennis recommended so I have no idea what you did.

I recommended the following
Unless there is some kind og game induced error...................
FSACARS seems to go nuts after a while.
My BEST advice is to Uninstall and reinstall.
Make CERTAIN you fill in the MTNIR INI with Pilot ID and Password
And make sure to change the FSACARS INI si the top line says NO METARS as below
[FSacars]
Provider=No Metars
Servinfo=
UseGauge=0
I run Win7 so I installed and run FSACARS as Admin.
Its a lot of hassle to do, but afterwards FSACARS will run fine again for a good deal of time

Mike,

The problem is that there is nothing in the Route box. The Start log button will remain greyed out until something is typed in the route field.

I just tried it myself and you're correct, there is something wrong with this route -- the Flight from VA button is supposed to populate the route itself, but it doesn't for this route. In the future, just copy and paste the route from the website into this route box if that happens again.

Cheers,

Mike, based on the investigation by Glen plus the fact that I have spoken to him personally, I can see that the route did not populate in FSACARS. If you will submit a manual I will see to it that it is approved. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Cheers

Hi,I tried entering the route in FSAcars and the start log button un-greyed. I already did a manual for the PIREP (#94470) which got disapproved. I can re-fly the flight again via FSAcars and resubmit. Your call - I'm Ok either way.

Am so close to end of the 80 flights, and would like to complete and move on to some other flights, etc.

Thanks.

Mike, I believe you flew the flight, no need to fly it again. I will however have to ask you to re-submit a manual PIREP as the one you submitted before is no longer there. Once I see it, I will approve. You continue to followed all the tour rules and I am sorry this issue with FSACARS has caused you concerns unjustly.

OK. Just flew flight #5135. Trying to close out the flight on FSAcars and get the attached error message that the log has been tampered with.

I'll go ahead and do a manual PIREP for this flight.

I personally do not know what causes a pop-up such as this. Before you fly another Tour Leg, maybe you should fly other flights to be sure your FSACARS is not corrupt. I use XPlane and not FSX but hopefully some of the people who know more about FSACARS with FSX will jump in here and give a suggestion about how to correct these issues. Tho only problems I have experienced are .dat fill errors which correct itself after deleting and hanging .dat files but I doubt that would cause this type of a pop-up notice. Now is a good time to do some online flying - maybe worth a try to have proof of a flight ;)
