Was thinking/rembering what possibly had changed recently and remembered that my MTF site (non-forum) password was changed. I thought I would re-download FSAcars as requested. I did and then opened notepad to re-enter my pilot # and password in the ini/config file. When I do and try to save, I get the message "access is denied". Any suggestions?

You are not running it as an Administrator if you get access is denied.

OK. Was finally able to run as Administrator and change. Just flew flight #5135. At the end of the flight tried to close the FSACars log. Did not get the "stop log" box and went directly to Accept/Reject Flight. When I clicked on Accept, I got the message "Tampered Log" again. Any suggestions?

You most likely have a MTN2769.dat file located in the same folder where you installed FSACARS. With both your simulator and FSACARS shut down, check for that .dat file and delete it if it's there. Also, delete the FSacarslog.txt file in the same folder location if that is there. Make sure you have installed both the 4.0.11 version of FSACARS and then updated it to version 4.0.15 as per the instructions in the FSACARS manual in the Training section on the website.

If you right-click on fsacars.exe and select Properties, in the Compatibility tab, make sure that Run as Administrator is checked, otherwise you aren't running it with admin privileges if you just double-click on it.

Do all of the above and then try another flight.
